As the leading voice on all matters arboricultural in the UK and increasingly internationally, the Arboricultural Association (AA) provides a home and membership for all those employed within the sector. The AA was founded in 1964 as a scientific and educational organisation, keen to promote the care and value of trees in non-forest areas. We champion the sustainable management of trees in places where people live, work and play – for the benefit of the whole of society.
The AA is regarded by many as being the focal point for world class best practice in arboriculture and is the UK home for all sectors of arboriculture within civic, commercial and academic settings and the home for all levels of tree care, craft, technical, supervisory, managerial or consultancy professionals. Our professional members are increasingly employed and consulted, wherever there are trees, all over the world, to deliver specialist advice and operations.
