The 11th edition of Taiwan Smart Agriweek concluded at TaiNEX 1 in Taipei with great success, attracting 400 exhibitors from 20 countries.
Held from September 3–5, 2025 and guided by the theme “Unlocking Global Agribusiness,” the event welcomed more than 21,000 buyers, farmers, distributors, and stakeholders from 69 countries, reaffirming its position as Asia’s leading smart solutions expo for agriculture, aquaculture, livestock and feed, cold chain logistics, agri-food, and sustainable farming.
Farm-to-Table Value Chain Solutions Under One Roof
The three-day expo brought together industry players, stakeholders, and distributors to explore more than 2,000 AI- and IoT-powered solutions spanning smart farming, aquaculture, livestock feed, agri-product processing, packaging, and distribution. By linking innovation with practical applications, Taiwan Smart Agriweek reinforced its role as a catalyst for growth, efficiency, and new opportunities across the farm-to-table value chain.
Among the standout features was a newly introduced Dairy Pavilion, showcasing HL Hamburger Leistungsfutter, SKOV–SECCO, Phosphea, EU Dehydrated Fodder, KSE, and others. This addition completed the AgriLivestock & Feed section, covering the full livestock spectrum across poultry, dairy, and swine.
Another major highlight was the debut of AgriFood Taiwan, a dedicated section showcasing the entire agri-food supply chain—from agricultural, fisheries, and livestock raw materials to end-market demand—demonstrating how sustainable innovation and smart technologies are shaping the future of food consumption.
A Platform For Knowledge Exchange, Exploration, & Meaningful Connections
Beyond the exhibition, Taiwan Smart Agriweek also served as a four-day hub for knowledge exchange, featuring more than 20 sessions led by 190 global experts and industry leaders. On September 2, 2025—one day before the show—two major forums, the 5th Animal Precision Nutrition International Forum and the Smart Aquaculture Conference, spotlighted breakthroughs in livestock, feed, aquaculture technologies, and alternative feeds.
These discussions, combined with onsite innovations, left a strong impression on visitors and buyers from Taiwan and overseas, who praised the wide variety of solutions and their direct applicability to farms, agribusinesses, and supply chains. In addition to showcasing technologies, the event also delivered valuable market insights and hosted more than 1,000 matchmaking sessions between exhibitors and attendees, generating an estimated US$80 million in procurement opportunities and laying the foundation for future partnerships.
“Taiwan’s agriculture is advancing under the Ministry of Agriculture’s ‘Smart, Resilient, Sustainable, and Safe’ policy, with initiatives in smart farming, mechanization, modernization, and cold chain logistics to ensure food security,” said Mr. Huang Chao-chin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture. “Through Taiwan Smart Agriweek, Taiwan aims to expand global markets and become a model of smart agriculture in Asia.”
Looking Ahead
Taiwan Smart Agriweek 2025 proved to be more than an innovation showcase—it served as a bridge linking industry, government, academia, and international stakeholders. Moving forward, the organizers aim to broaden cross-sector forums, deliver immersive experiences, and boost global media outreach to raise the event’s profile and accelerate sustainable growth in smart agriculture and aquaculture.
