Funded as part of the UK Government’s Agri-Tech Strategy, at the Agri-EPI Centre we are one of four Agri-Tech Centres bridging the gap between industry and academia across the agri-food sector in the UK and globally.
As the go-to enabler, we work with businesses, scientists and engineers to turn their ideas into new products and services that will generate economic growth and help tackle the global issues of sustainability and feeding the world.
Our work is about providing scientifically robust and commercially viable solutions to improve productivity and sustainability within the food production system using cutting-edge precision technologies, robotics and autonomous solutions and engineering technologies, and using data to reduce variance at producer level.
We have an industry membership of over 200 organisations, Satellite farm test and demonstration sites across the UK, and internationally (Far East, South America and Antipodean), where UK companies can “land” their agritech on in-country exemplar farms.
