Agri Frontier is an Africa-focused agribusiness advisory and investment platform that connects high-growth African agri-SMEs with international partners, capital and markets, including the UK agri-food and agritech ecosystem.
Founded in 2014, Agri Frontier began as a specialist consulting and transaction advisory firm supporting agribusinesses, investors and development partners across Sub-Saharan Africa. Today, it operates as an integrated platform combining advisory services, enterprise acceleration and impact-oriented investment solutions.
Through its consulting and advisory division, Agri Frontier works with agribusinesses, agritech companies and investors to support market entry, commercial partnerships, capital raising, ESG integration and value chain development. A key focus is facilitating UK–Africa market linkages, including supporting UK agritech, input providers and service companies to access African markets, and enabling African agri-SMEs to connect with UK buyers, technology providers, investors and expertise.
In 2022, Agri Frontier launched the Agri Frontier Growth Hub, a growth-stage accelerator and technical assistance facility supporting African agri-SMEs to become investment-ready and internationally competitive. The Hub provides tailored support including business strategy, financial modelling, governance strengthening, climate-resilient and gender-smart business practices, and market and investor linkages. It also acts as a platform for piloting and scaling relevant UK agritech solutions within African value chains.
Building on this pipeline, Agri Frontier is launching the Agri Frontier Growth Fund, a blended finance impact fund addressing the “missing middle” financing gap for growth-stage agri-SMEs.
Across all activities, Agri Frontier promotes sustainable trade, innovation exchange and long-term partnerships between the UK and African agri-food sectors.
