Who we are
Efeca is a UK based consultancy with over 75 years of combined experience in the field of natural resources management. Our team of technical experts provides independent support to develop, assess, implement, monitor, evaluate and report on national and international policies, and both voluntary and mandatory regulations and private sector commitments including zero net deforestation commitments, the Amsterdam Declarations, and procurement policies.
Ways in which we work
Sharing lessons and linkages through facilitation, strategic planning and programme support, we work globally on the interface of private and public sector, research and civil society, across a wide range of commodities such as palm oil, soya, timber, woodfuel, tea, coffee and cocoa. Efeca has worked on a range of projects from large, international donor programmes to the delivery of bespoke training programmes for SMEs. We advise governments and donor agencies on the implementation of legislative and governance requirements, and support buyers and their suppliers to meet these and other market requirements.
