Agri-Tech Trade mission to South America

South America is a key player in the world food production with an increasing global share of 16%, and a wide variety of products such as cereals, oilseed, animal proteins, fruits and vegetables. With extreme fertile soils and favourable climates, this region holds promise for sustainable growth and collaboration with UK’s Agri-tech ecosystem.

Join the Department for Business and Trade on this mission to explore agricultural and livestock opportunities in Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia.

The mission will start in Expo Prado in Uruguay. This fair is the place of choice for Uruguayan farmers to present their best breeding animals in competitions and to do agri-related business. For the tenth year in a row, the British Embassy will be present at Expo Prado with a British Pavilion. After visiting this important fair for the region, the tour will continue with a visit to Argentina and Bolivia to hold meetings with the main stakeholders of the sector.

Support and guidance from DBT in every country for an impactful participation and visit.
Presentations and meetings with local buyers and commercial partners according to your company’s profile and interests.

Uruguay: Attendance to Expo Prado and parallel business meetings with potential partners. (2 days)
Argentina: (2 days) Tailored business meetings in Buenos Aires and Rosario, the core agricultural area of the country.

Bolivia: Visit to the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, the Agro hub of the country, and meetings with potential partners (2 days).
Paraguay: DBT Paraguay’s Director will accompany the mission whilst in Expo Prado to discuss potential commercial opportunities in the market.

Brazil: A DBT Brazils Officer will accompany the mission whilst in Expo Prado to discuss potential commercial opportunities in their market.
