Agritechnica Asia is the first spin-off of the world’s largest trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment, Agritechnica in Hanover. The third edition of Agritechnica Asia, moved from May to October this year, will concentrate on the agricultural engineering solutions that are both relevant and essential to the development of agriculture in the Asian markets.

While the focus in Europe is on innovations for the cultivation of cereals and maize, Agritechnica Asia expands the exhibition programme further to include local solutions for the cultivation of rice, cassava and sugar cane. It has become established as a central forum for decision-makers and experts from the fields of farming and agricultural technology in Asia-Pacific.

More than 10,000 visitors from 69 countries gathered at the second edition of Agritechnica Asia, which was held held in Thailand in 2018 together with Horti Asia, the tradeshow for horticulture and floriculture. Altogether 300 exhibitors from 29 countries took part in the trade fairs, including official launch partners AGCO, Fliegl, Maschio Gaspardo, and Pöttinger. The exhibition enjoyed the support of the Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, being the official co-host of the event.
