UK tag was invited to join, we have been working with our embassy over several years to develop markets for agritech and livestock genetics in Kazakhstan hosting and organising inward missions looking at various aspects of our industry
Working with the Kazakh embassy in London we have developed a good relationship in particular Rob Grinnall our veterinary director has been instrumental working with Defra to get the necessary certifications agreed needed for both sheep and cattle to allow exports of embryos and semen to their country
The minister was here to sign an Agriculture Road Map setting out areas where we can collaborate to develop our industries
He is very enthusiastic about British agritech and genetics capabilities and we look forward to working more both with the British embassy and business in his country to develop trade to the mutual benefit of both countries and we look forward to welcoming him and his team to the Royal 3 Counties Show in June
